Attachment and Psychodynamic Therapy

     Attachment and other psychodynamic therapies emphasize the importance relationships with others have on human well-being. Often times, if we are depressed or anxious, it can inevitably be traced back to difficulties in relationships, or an inability to connect with others. Our life story significantly impacts our patterns of relating and interacting with the people in our lives and understanding those patterns can significantly improve our relationships. As we unpack our story and discover our patterns, we can better understand ourselves, and positively impact the relationships that most matter to us.
